The League is a nonpartisan political organization that promotes the informed and active participation of citizens in government. Membership is open to all women and men. The League does not support or oppose any candidate or political party. Members study and discuss public policy issues in order to arrive at positions. These positions are the basis for League action. The League is financed by membership dues and contributions from interested citizens.
